Glentoran came back from behind to pick up a point last time out, Jordan Stewart netting late on in new manager, Duncan Ferguson's first game in charge.
For Carrick, it was a day to forget at Solitude last Saturday, as Cliftonville earned the win with a 7-1 victory, Danny Gibson scoring the 'Gers only goal of the game.
The sides last met at Taylors Avenue back in January, coincidentally when Carrick also conceded 7 goals, Pat Hoban scoring six of them. Stephen Baxter's men will be hoping to turn things around in the same manner they did in January, going on an unbeaten league run which stretched 8 weeks.
Stephen Baxter is without without Mikey Place, Matthew Snoddy, Jack Hastings and Scott Pengelly (all knee). Billy Joe Burns (hamstring) also remains on the sideline. Joe Crowe is available for selection having served his suspension for 5 yellow cards, whilst Ben Buchanan-Rolleston should return having missed last Saturday's game through illness.
Your support, as always, would be greatly appreciated and below, you can find information for ticketing arrangements.
